the wind blows forever

i.
home at last unhinge my jaw and sigh
loosen teeth words retreat they float up to the sky
mouth bloodied broken tired but i’m fine
close throat repeat take a seat or go outside and fly
toward the sea
the forlorn breeze
is love the key?
amongst the clouds i’ll cry

ii.
how many times i’ve gone home alone
so many times i’ve fallen asleep
when will i meet you?
when i meet you you’ll tell me
when i meet you you’ll tell me that some day i’ll die

i hear you but i don’t believe you
you’ll tell me that some day i’ll die
when will i meet you? please tell me
when i meet you i know you’ll tell me
when i meet you i’ll know i’ll live forever

iii.
the water trickles
the wind blows forever
beasts sharpen their teeth
on my bones by the water

is love the key? i hear you
the wind carries quiet words
beasts feeding and fucking
the water still trickles

the wind blows forever
should i go outside and fly?
you’ll tell me that some day
amongst the clouds i’ll cry

the wind blows forever
words float up to the sky
when will i meet you?
i’m tired but i’m fine
